Responsibilities:
- Strong knowledge of logistics and container transportation management for quality service delivery
- Possess excellent time management skills to be able to fulfil jobs in a timely manner.
- Excellent stakeholder and people management skills to be able to work with and manage both local and offshore teams effectively
- Good communication skills to understand the details of clients’ needs and passing through to team members for execution
- Work effectively with all members of the logistics team to be able to perform optimally
- Manage operational work processes to ensure quality and efficiency
- Work with Demand and Supply teams on tenders, RFQ and to manage capacity and fulfilment
- Generate and monitor KPI metrics to assess performance and implement improvements for the team and vendors
- Ability to organize and multi-task for efficient fulfilment of jobs
- Optimize and ensure PSA operations (ITT and ITH) are fulfilled within the required safety framework
- Resolve any arising problems or complaints
- Ensure high customer service level
Requirements:
- Diploma and above in Logistics Management or in a relevant discipline
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar capacity
- Good foundation in English
- Added advantage of having experience in a start-up environment
